«We had a great time at Carla’s B&B for our small biking trip around Locarno. The place is very clean, charming, decorated with a lot of taste, and walking distance from to the city center and the train station. The breakfast was reaaaaaaaally good (feels like at home). The home made jams were my favorites. The hosts (Carla’s and the dogs) were so welcoming and charming. We will definitely come back for an “escapade” in relaxing Locarno.
«It is a nice furnished old house with a comfortable bed and a rain shower. The rich breakfast can be taken in the house or in the garden. Close to the house is the Piazza Grande. At night it is very quiet. Carla is friendly host, who has some insider tips for her guests. »
«The host is very nice, friendly and helpful. She seems always open for a chat, but is not pushy or so in any way! She gave us very precious advice on where to eat, what products to buy, where to get good coffee, what sites are worth visiting etc. She made the best cappuccino we had in Locarno and one day baked very lovely apple pie for breakfast. She definitely knows a lot about fine food and good quality products, so it’s interesting what she shares about these things. The house is decorated in a very creative and artsy way; it’s a really quirky place to be!»
«The property was beautifully maintained and very comfortable. We really enjoyed our interaction with Carla. She was very helpful and warm. Breakfast was delicious and Carla did everything to make our stay as enjoyable and comfortable as possible.»
«Location (5 mins from main square), nice building, good value for money.»
